THERE IS GOD:

Some months ago, this solemn declaration came from the most unlikely person in Nigeria, "Patience Jonathan" our first Lady.
Whether she really understood the magnitude and depth of that declaration or not, almost all of us in Nigeria and all over the world laughed so hard our sides hurt badly,..but come to think of it, she was speaking the mind of God in this end times to this sinful generation but we failed to see that grave fact.
we all acted like the Israelites in the time of Jeremiah when the Prophet lamented the idolatry of Gods chosen people and they laughed him to scorn and later suffered destruction as foretold.
Alarmingly the same scenario is playing out before our eyes, here the word of God has been so abused and the fear of God deleted from our lives that we have become like fools who think they are wise. Yet the Bible says "THE FOOL HAS SAID IN HIS HEART, THERE IS NO GOD!" but our first lady is telling us again "THERE IS GOD" and He is on the throne watching, Observing, recording, with His rewards in His hands.
Brethren its high time to take stock, to evaluate our lives and check whether we are still standing in the faith. Yes the economy is bad, yes there is Boko Haram, yes there are crimes, hunger, calamity, all manner of evil, Ebola, etc, but there is GOD and He is very much alive and wants to get involved with our lives so we can become PART OF HIM, and also escape the coming judgement. He is the only ARK for safety and life and He is still pleading with us to consider Him...but remember the Bible says "SEEK THE LORD NOW THAT HE CAN BE FOUND, BECAUSE A TIME COMETH WHEN YOU SHALL SEEK HIM AND NOT FIND HIM".
We don't have any excuses, you cannot blame your pastor, priest, church etc because the issue of your salvation is personal, they will not stand with you in judgement, you will do that alone so WAKE UP!
Its a pity most of our churches are so occupied with programs, teaching about sowing and reaping, offerings, blessings etc without telling people to GO to the MASTER JESUS for personal relationship and ultimate blessedness, they have forgotten "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD..." ie the relationship with God FIRST!
The Church has become Martha but Jesus is calling us to be Mary, to come to Him in personal relationship, COME UNTO ME, its unto HIM that we will be fed. Go to Him and shut out all the noise distracting you from knowing Him intimately cos HE needs that our attention so He can direct us aright. When was the last time they taught you about QUIET TIME! even Jesus had to withdraw for quiet time with His Father for constant intimacy and so should you!.
Oh that today you listen to His voice, harden not your heart, THERE IS GOD my people, peace.
